The Media Park has unprecedented appeal. For young and old it has proved to be an equally magical and mysterious place. For a number of years now it has been possible to have a look around the park, both in the studios and behind the scenes. For the first time ever, doors previously closed to the public have opened, providing a peek ‘backstage’. And, as it turns out, this has been a long cherished dream of many. In recent years many groups have visited the park for our own ‘Hillywood’ tour.
The now familiar little train takes you on a day-long tour of all the known and lesser-known places. Did you know, for example, that the park has its own ‘walk of fame’ with sidewalk stars? You will also learn about the TV productions. What’s involved in producing a TV or radio show, from the drawing board to the presentation you enjoy at home? Your guide will also tell you many entertaining and unusual facts about the park, you will visit various studios and go backstage and, if you are lucky, the guide may even reveal a few of the park’s secrets. Of course there is also always the possibility that you will run into a familiar actor or presenter.
